Welcome to Trewidden Garden
Trewidden Garden is steeped in history as well as natural beauty. Originally planted by T B Bolitho in the late 19th Century, the 10 acre garden offers an unforgettable orchestra of colour throughout the year and particularly during the spring months.

As well as the magnificent Tree Fern Dell, you will see one of the finest collections of camellias and magnolias in the country, all in a wonderfully peaceful and natural garden with a maze of paths bringing surprises and reminders of days gone by at almost every turn.

I hope you will enjoy visiting Trewidden Garden.

Seasonal Notes - May 2008

Alison Clough - Head Gardener - Read her Seasonal Notes

Bluebell Time

With the coming of May the feeling of early summer is now upon the garden.

Native Bluebells carpet areas beneath the trees with nodding blue flowers.

Later flowering Camellias are now giving way to Rhododendrons and the vibrant, new, emerging fronds on the Tree Ferns give a fresh look to the Tree Fern Dell.
